Summary

Fieldwalking in 1984 by the Fenland Survey recovered a general scatter of medieval sherds, though some appeared to be in a tight group close to the modern farm track. A concentration of medieval and post medieval sherds was also noted on a roddon on the edge of a trackway. It was thought that the roddon could have been artificially hieghtened. A further concentration of medieval pottery sherds was noted in 1985 close to the drove to the west.
