Summary

A Roman coin with Romulus and Remus and a wolf on the reverse, a small Middle Saxon coin with a bird on the reverse and the leg of a medieval cauldron were found here by metal detecting.

September 1984. Metal detecting.
Sceat; one side with animal with very long legs and tail which curls round over body and under front leg. Circle of pellets round edge, facing left. Reverse has bird with long beak facing left, long legs and outstretched wings, small cross to left See (S1) and (S2).

Foot from ?ewer or cauldron 2cm long approximately, bronze, slightly pointed.
