Summary

Metal detecting here in 1984 recovered an unsual Roman plate brooch decorated with a relief fish. A possible Roman disc brooch was also found at the same site.

Unusual plate brooch with relief fish, 2nd century. Hole drilled in end after brooch made to repair spring or to attach chain to join two brooches.

Also a decorated bronze slight domed disc with central hole, could be Roman.
