Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1984 recovered prehistoric flint flakes and blades along with sherds of Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery.

1984. Found in fieldwalking.
Worked flints: thirteen flakes, two blades (F. Healy (NAU) January 1985).
Medieval unglazed body sherds, post medieval sherds including, decorated clay pipe bowl fragment.
Very abraded base sherd, possibly Late Saxon. Very worn corky sherd, possibly Early Saxon.
Finds held by NCM, formerly by member of the public [1].
