Summary

The butt end of a large thin Neolithic polished flint axehead was found on the surface of this field. Fieldwalking recovered prehistoric worked flints including a Beaker period barbed and tanged flint arrowhead. Fragments of prehistoric, Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon and medieval pottery were also found.
