Summary

This 17th century house was extended to the south in the 18th century and the southwest in the 19th century. It is built from red brick with a pantile roof. The north-south range is taller than the southern range and there are two east wings and a parallel range to the west. There is an axial chimneystack in the south wing and an end chimneystack in the northwest wing. Inside, there is an open brick fireplace with bressumer in the kitchen. The 17th century tiebeams may provide evidence for a timber frame. An associated barn dates to the 19th century.

Axial chimneystack in south wing, end chimneystack in northwest wing. Flint plinth to north gable (inside extension). Open brick fireplace with bressumer, and ovolo moulded beams, in kitchen. 17th century tiebeams - evidence for timber frame?
Windbraced roof. 19th century open barn for reed also listed.
