Summary

An object resembling a thimble divided into angular sections and pricked within sections with a hole in the top has been suggested to be a cap for a wooden or bone object. It was found with a metal detector. It is thought to be medieval.

Object resembling thimble, divided into angular sections, pricked within sections, hole in centre top. Exactly like brass object from East Rudham (NHER 3632) but bronze.
S. Margeson (NCM) suggests ?cap from wooden or bone object.
