Summary

Fieldwalking in 1984 recovered a few sherds of medieval pottery in a sparse scatter. These may have derived from more intensive settlement on the other side of the track.

6 December 1984. Weathered ploughsoil with clods.
Fenland site TSL BD: Strip of land beside track opposite church and further southeast a few sherds medieval pottery. Perhaps 10-20m wide with a lot of gravel and fairly modern rubbish mixed in, but sherds are sparse and may have beem spread from more intensive settlement on other side of track. (S1).
