Summary

Between 1964 and 1984 a Mesolithic flint tranchet axehead, a Neolithic flaked flint axehead, three Beaker period barbed and tanged arrowheads, eight Mesolithic or Neolithic blades and other prehistoric worked flints were found. One piece of Beaker period pot was also recorded. The exact locations of these discoveries are unclear.

Around 1964 to 1984. Stray Find.
Various finds from 'lands of Banhams Farm'. This area is a series of Fen-edge fields on west side of the Cut Off Channel. The Banham Farm farmhouse is at TL 704 431 but its lands extend onto TL 69 SE.

1 Neolithic flint axe. Broken and rechipped in two places. See drawing (S2).
9 Neolithic flint scrapers and 3 hammerstones.
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age pottery sherd (Beaker) and 3 barbed and tanged flint arrowheads.
