Summary
Metal-detecting at this site in 1984 recovered a medieval hammered silver penny minted in York. Further investigation showed that it was probably a coin of Henry V.

14 October 1984. Found in farm gateway at Watton Green.
Hammered silver penny, York mint. Probably Henry V class D 1413-1422; amulet to right of crown.
