Full Description
1940s-50s. Surface Find.
The grid reference provided for this find is an area of confluence of Thet and Little Ouse. The item was found in a drainage trench. It is a post conquest gilt bronze mount with a fleur-de-lys terminal and an incised cross as well as a hooked shank on the back. G. Knocker's small find no. 1222.
