Summary
Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered prehistoric worked and burnt flints and occasional fragments of animal bone from a chalk drift ridge just emerging from the peat.

25 January 1985. Fenland fieldwalking.
In ploughed and reasonably well weathered field.
Few flints, odd bone fragments, odd potboilers on a chalky drift ridge just showing through peat. No more than 0.3m above
peat level.
