Summary

Spearheads, thought to be of Roman date, were found in Gorleston in 1817. However, it is possible that the 'spearheads' were actually Bronze Age axes or halberds, part of the Bronze Age hoards found in Gorleston, see NHER 10556 and NHER 10557.

'Roman javelin heads', see (S1).
There is a strong possibility, in view of the Gorleston Bronze Age hoards, see NHER 10556 and NHER 10557, that these were Bronze Age axes or halberds.
