1983 to 1984. Found in gardens.
Context 1. In finder's garden.
Medieval abraded sherds, glazed Grimston bunghole fragment, 1 late glazed Grimston, 2 possibly glazed Grimston.
1 sherd grey fabric undated.
Bag of glazed red earthenware, stoneware, china, claypipe, Staffs combed slip, glass, etc.
44 flints including 3 retouched, also some burnt flint potboilers.
Context 2. In neighbours' garden to east.
3 glazed Grimston, 2 post medieval stoneware, 1 clay pipe stem, 1 flint flake.

1985. Further finds from context 1.
Flint flakes and spalls, mostly not prehistoric, many showing signs of crushing and battering - road make up.
But also a bag of potboilers, 2 sherds medieval unglazed, 1 sherd grey, eroded ?glazed Grimston, 1 sherd post medieval, pinkish with green glazed interior, bag of post medieval and 20th century pottery, clay pipe, etc.
Context 3 at TF 6453 2192, neighbouring garden to south.
Same spread. 7 prehistoric flakes, 1 potboiler, clay pipe stem and recent pottery.
