NHER 21145 (Find Spot record) - Prehistoric pot boilers and Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flints

1 February 1985. Fenland Project fieldwalking.
Site MTW 37 (TL 6407 9412).
On top of grey sand virtually flush with peat surface surface of sand mixed with peat. Scatter of sparse flints and 'pot boilers' Max dimensions 42m N/S x 15m E/W. Although the worked flints were predominantly of early in date it appeared that the assemblage was multi-period with both Mesolithic and potentially Early Neolithic pieces present. The Mesolithic flints included a microlith fragment.
