November 1983. Metal detecting.
Bronze cross brooch.
Information from member of the public [1]. Photograph taken by NCM.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) and E. B. Green (NCM).
W. F. Milligan (NCM) 8 December 1983.
Cross-shaped brooch found 1983 should be redated to the 9th century, i.e. Middle Saxon/Late Saxon.
