Full Description
Date and circumstances of discovery uncertain. 'Garboldisham Common' on NCM box containing two sherds.
Both sherds of handmade Iron Age pottery.
Identified by A. Gregory (NAU), 27 February 1985.
A. Gregory (NAU), 28 February 1985.
Could this however be a mistake for Garboldisham Heath - was open heath until about 1940 whereas the common seems to have been ploughed since 1920s at latest.
E. Rose (NAU), 5 March 1985.
