Summary

This timber-framed house was believed to date to the mid 18th-century when first examined, although a subsequent survey suggested it could be as early as late 16th century. Its brick façade was added in the 19th century.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House and shop. Mid 18th-century. Mixture of timber framing and brick façade with red and black glazed pantiles. Two storeys, door to left of 20th-century shop front. One 19th-century sash window left and three to first floor. Gabled roof with central ridge stack. Included for group value only."
