Summary

Two Neolithic flint polished axeheads were found in the 1940s. A prehistoric flint flake was found during fieldwalking in the 1980s.

Two elegant thin butted, part polished flint axes.

Site visited by J. J. Wymer (NAU) 6th March 1985.
Sandy, gravelly field with winter wheat and good conditions for fieldwalking.
Only one flake found in 20 minutes of searching.
