Pre 1935. Masons Warren (not found on OS).
Laurel leaf arrowhead found by [1], see (S1)
Noted generally by R. R. Clarke (NCM) under NHER 4520, location and description from (S2).
E. Rose (NAU) 22 April 1985.

The Warren covers the whole north east area of the present parish and was once larger, but [2] can find no record of any
part of it being called Masons.
E. Rose (NAU) 5 June 1985.

(S3), borrowed by A. Rogerson (NAU), detailing theories on history of parish mentions a stream that flows at times from 'near Masons Cottages into Wellmere'. This suggests area is around south west extent of warren, near village (Marginal note 'St John's Warren' may apply to this site; Mason was the land agent for parish).
E. Rose (NAU) 16 December 1985
