March 1985: Found in east part of field. Metal detecting and surface finds on ploughed field.
Lead pilgrim ampulla, with letter W, found at east field boundary.
Several large sherds of Grimston green glazed jug, spread over the whole area marked. Probably lots of other sherds
about and not collected.
Ampulla held by member of the public [1]. Sherds held by member of the public [2].
