Summary

This late medieval hall house retains a screens passage, service stairs and the central truss to the hall. The parlour block with chimneystack was rebuilt in the 17th century but the upper floor in the hall may not have been inserted until the 19th century. There is an important example of a blessing mark that was clearly made before the timber frame was erected.
