Full Description
12 April 1985. Well weathered soil.
Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds particularly east side roddon at grid reference. Site TYS AE.
Context 2: at [1]. Concentration of sparse medieval pot, few bits bone, odd shell. Some sherds large because a chunk of pasture ploughed for first time. On edge of roddon but does not really run onto top. No post medieval contamination. Approximately 42m north-south x 30m east-west but pasture to west could mask more. Site TYS 5 2.4m OD.
