Summary

Fieldwalking in 1985 by the Fenland Survey recovered a general scatter of medieval pottery sherds from this field. Four concentrations of medieval pottery sherds were also noted, some including large quantities of post medieval material, along with fragments of bone and small stones. At least one roddon was noted, along with a possible filled-in dyke or gully. Large amounts of slag may indicate a post medieval metal working site.
