Summary

Fieldwalking in 1985 recovered a concentration of Roman sherds and bone fragments as well as some small fragments of briquetage.

1 April 1985. Fieldwalking on well weathered ploughsoil.
Concentration Roman sherds including some good pieces. Sparse to moderate. Bone sparse but definitely present also some small fragments of briquetage. NB not on a roddon. Max 45m north to south x 43m east to west at 1.5m OD. TYL 29 (S1).
