Summary
Fieldwalking in 1985 by the Fenland Survey recovered some medieval pottery sherds and at least one Roman amphora fragment. The amphora fragment was recovered from close to the north boundary of the field, and the medieval sherds largely from beside the road.

Full Description
9 April 1985. Fieldwalking on well weathered ploughsoil.
Odd sherds medieval pottery and at least on Roman amphora fragment, latter from close to north boundary of field. medieval sherds mainly from beside road. WPP FW (S1).
