Summary

Fieldwalking in 1985 by the Fenland Survery recovered a concentration of late medieval pottery, with shell and bone fragments and some post medieval brick. A possible medieval trackway was also noted. Metal detecting in 2009 recovered a silver post-medieval thimble.

18 April 1985. Fieldwalking ploughed land.
Concentration late medieval pottery, sparse shell and bone very sparse, moderate post medieval material mainly brick. On edge of drove. Extent uncertain around 25m northwest-southeast and extends over full width of small strip of
ploughed land around 25m 2.1m OD. TYL 41 (S1).
