Summary

This building has an early 19th century fronting covering an older house. It is built from red brick with a hipped slate roof and pantiles on the rear wing roofs. The Doric doorway is centrally placed and the roof has a wooden eaves cornice and two symmetrical chimneystacks. The two-and-a-half storey hipped west wing has a north stepped parapet. Inside, the west range has a fine staircase dating to around 1600. Associated with the Manor House are a range of outbuildings dating to 1856. To the northeast is a red brick boundary wall with roll-moulded coping. It has a recessed gateway and square gate piers with moulded caps and finials.

Early 19th century fronting of older house. Red brick with hipped slate roof, pantiles on rear wings. Two storeys; east façade of three bays divided by pilasters. Central Doric doorway. Wooden eaves cornice. 20th century canted bay to south. Two symmetrical chimneystacks. Two-and-a-half storey hipped west wing with north stepped parapet. In west range fine staircase dating to around 1600 with turned balusters and massive turned newels, probably reset.
Associated with the Manor House are a range of outbuildings dating to 1856. These are made from red brick with hipped slate roofs and brick 'saw-tooth' eaves. They have circular window openings with gault brick surrounds. To the northeast is a red brick boundary wall with roll-moulded coping. It has a recessed gateway with curved pierced brick flank walls. The gate piers are square with moulded caps and finials.
