Summary

In 1985 a complete Roman silver finger ring with snakes head terminal, dating to the 1st to 2nd century AD was found on an overgrown bridle-path.

1985. Found on overgrown bridle-path (but cross on NCM map shows just off path to south).[1]
Complete silver finger ring with snakes head terminal, 1st to 2nd century AD. Snakes head terminal from similar finger ring.

Complete ring probably broken in antiquity and broken end bent round surviving terminal so it could be hung.
