Summary

In 1985 a possible prehistoric burnt mound was recorded in the wood here. It was about 0.5m high, had a diameter of about 20m diameter and, where bare soil was visible, was covered with dense concentrations of flint pot boilers.

Mound. About 0.5m high, apparently circular and about 20m diameter within wood. All bare areas of surface show dense pot boiler bearing black soil.
