Summary

Roman brooches, pins and spoons, as well as a pot filled with molten lead suggest that this was a metal working site in the Roman period.

Silver spoon bowl with marginal decoration. See drawing (S1).
Copper alloy hair pin with conical knob end.

Also find 'V' wheel brooch with slight lugs and conical raised centre with twelve enamelled segments. See drawing (S1).
