Full Description
14 October and 2 December 1984. Hales sites 134 and 150.
Fieldwalking on ploughed fallow well weathered soil good conditions, sandy clay - strip around northeast angle of field had crumbly surface newly sown when walked 14 October.
Northeast strip barren except for 1 sherd glazed red earthenware.
Remainder:
1 medieval glazed, 5 flints and pot boilers, 3 flints and near them a fragment of ripple flaked sickle or knife, very fine craftmanship, one edge polished, other shows signs of ware and is also partly polished possibly by use. One end broken and slightly reflaked in antiquity. Other end has traces of burning; Neolithic.
