Around 1947 two Middle to Late Bronze Age palstaves were recovered when this land was ploughed for the first time.

2003.
Palstaves originally brought to NCM around 1947, when land was ploughed for the first time in many years. Resubmitted by [1] for fuller identification. Reports that black soil marks were visible on ploughed soil surface.
