Full Description
August 1985. Probably found whilst metal detecting? - not stated.
Small long brooch with headplate and bow remaining. Length 5cm, width of headplate 3cm. Incised lines round edge of headplate. Edge of catchplate gone. Iron remains in pin loop, 6th century. See (S1).
Square lead weight, 6cm, bevelled edge, one boss on back, traces of raised animal? motif on front. medieval? Finder 'has seen one from Breckland with raised A on front' and A. Gregory (NAU) knows of similar objects.
Two Roman fibulae reported but not seen.
