The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Hill House, Lingwood (S2). The site is centred on TG 3679 0745. The ring ditch is 12.5m across and slightly oval in plan. Two central pits may be visible within the centre, however it is possible that these are in fact geological in origin, as numerous pits are visible within the area pits.
S. Massey (NMP), 28 June 2007.
