Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting at this location since 1985 has recorded the remains of a medieval house along with numerous multi-period finds. Noteworthy finds comprised a Roman cosmetic pestle, medieval Papal Bull of Alexander IV as well as sherds of Grimston Ware pottery.
