Summary

Fieldwalking in 1985 for the Fenland Survey recovered only a small collection of medieval pottery sherds, but the large collection of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds recovered during later work in 1992 to 1993 suggested a 14th to 17th century occupation. Vitrified brick and tile fragments also suggest the possibility of a brick kiln in this area during that period.
