September 1985. Found at unknown depth when working in arable field.
Copper alloy socketed axe, length 10cm, width of socket 4.5cm, of blade 5.5cm overall. Two ribs around edge of socket, otherwise plain. One side of blade chipped, same side as loop. Deep crack in socket edge, splitting an ovoid hole between the two decorative ribs.
