Full Description
20 November 1985:
On surface after topsoil stripping in advance of trenching for Anglian Water pipeline.
Building remains; located in metres north of edge of present track.
5 to 35m: scattered patches of mortar. 45m: mortared flint footings; running southwest to northeast, about 40 cm wide, at least 1m long. 45 to 50m: spread of heavy chalk flecking; remains of floor? No dating evidence; corresponds well in position with apparently 19th century building further east.

Medieval; front half of suspension stud for a horse harness pendant.
Circular with intergral shank on reverse and gilded obverse decorated with five punched dots within incised circle. Tiny punched triangles surround the circle, each one with base inwards. 13th century.
Undatable; Lead weight, annular, diameter 27mm, thickness 6.5 mm, off-centre hole diameter 11mm, weighing 34.1g (perhaps a 1.25oz weight).
