Full Description
Early 1980s.
Silver denarius of Crispina.
Gilt bronze disc with empty mushroom-shaped settings of Sutton Hoo style. Possibly a brooch, but fittings on back not seen.
Poor photos of both objects only seen.
Anonymous information given to A. Gregory (NCM) 11 December 1985.
