Full Description
16 - 17 December 1985. Fieldwalking, young winter cereal, potato waste obscures surface except at south end.
Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds. TYL BA (S1).
Context 2 at 5554 1788: small scatter medieval pot might be part of concentration or extension of context 3. Over 15m-20m diameter? TYS BB (S2).
Context 3 at 5566 1783: concentration of sparse medieval pot, moderate shell very sparse bone, moderate post medieval building rubble. Extensive spread originally thought to be two sites but clearly one when plotted, on edge medieval drove, around 90m north to south x 40m east to west at 2.4m OD. TYL 18 (S3).
