Summary

Fieldwalking in 1984 by the Fenland Survey and aerial photography recorded the presence of a linear depression in the middle of a medieval trackway in this field. It was thought to resemble part of a moat, but the positioning suggests this is unlikely.

Linear depression in middle of medieval drove. WPP GG (S1).
Resembles part of moat but unusual position - compare to NHER 19789, and NHER 19728. In pasture (not visited). Estimate 32m northeast to southwest x 5m northeast to southeast.
