Date and circumstances of discovery unknown.
In 1984 it was purchased from a dealer by owner who supplied details to (S1).
A hinged bronze plate brooch, 35mm across. Perforated, the area between the perforations decorated with blue and geen enamel. Across the centre of the brooch is a rectangular panel inscribed in raised letters surrounded by green enamel ?a ma me (love me).
