Summary

In 1985 a schist hone was found during the digging of foundations for a house here. This object was felt to date to the Late Saxon period or later, but a firm date could not be determined.

Mica schist hone. Thick handle end, wider and thinner spoon shaped working end. Length 18cm Late Saxon or later, not dateable.
