Summary

This 17th-century rendered timber-framed house has a thatched roof. It stands one storey high with an attic and was once part of a larger house. The larger house was divided into two and the second part, No. 1, was demolished in about 1980.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Part of former lobby-entrance type house divided into two. No.1 destroyed in c.1980. 17th century. Rendered timber-frame with thatched roof. Single-storey with attic. Entrance opposite stack with 20th-century porch in front. Two two-light windows on ground floor: one with horizontal glazing bars. Two three-light dormer windows above with horizontal glazing bars. Brick axial stack with original winding stair and facetted newel on entrance side. Original beams with stepped stops. Upstairs overmantel decorated with pargetted vine scroll friezes."
