Full Description
1983 to 5. Adjacent to Wild Wood.
Finds being eroded out of footpath (N.B. grid reference only, no map provided by finder. No path shown on Ordnance Survey 6 inch map).
Context 1 along length as above, chip of polished flint axe?; flakes and spalls, probably Neolithic predominantly; some pot boilers, some burnt flakes, one scraper, one shell fragment (found July 1983 and 1984 to 5).
Individually located within scatter were a Beaker barbed and tanged arrowhead at 68792 28770 and a finely worked arrowtip at 68806 28774. (found September 1983). Also within scatter are context 2 at 68719 28762; basal sherd Ipswich pimply, and context 3 at 6868 2875; body sherd dark grey sandy, undated. Both found September 1984.
Finds to go to either Sandringham Estate Museum or KLM.
