Summary

A good example of an early 19th century octagonal Gothick cottage,with original arched windows, and a central chimney stack.

Very good example of an early 19th century Gothick cottage.
Octagonal, but central sides east and larger.
Small rear extension perhaps part original.
Some Gothick windows and doors survive.
Central stack.
(S1) suggests it was built between 1800 and 1808 although it may be of earlier date.

This is very similar to the Roundhouse, Costessey, NHER 7918, and a house at Cringleford, NHER 11613.
