Summary
Sometime prior to 1985 a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were retrieved from the gardens of the public house here. One of the sherds was identified as medieval greyware pottery.

Full Description
Pre 1985. From the garden of the Cricketers Inn (Chequers Cottage in 1994).
One medieval greyware sherd.
Four sherds of late medieval/Trans pottery.
Several post medieval sherds.
