'A few days before' 6 February 1986. On foreshore of Great Ouse (grid reference and location corrected: found on east bank of flood relief channel, not the Great Ouse - E. M. James (KLM) May 1986).
Bronze palstave, very corroded. Flanged with loop. Pronounced curve in sides towards blade. Length 15cm, width across blade 6cm.
