Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 by the Fenland Survey recovered a number of medieval pottery sherds from across this area. Two low mounds were also noted, the first of which corresponds to a rectangular ditched enclosure visible on aerial photographs from 1946. The second corresponded to a possible enclosure boundary feature, and was associated with a spread of bone, shell and medieval pottery sherds.
